Where is Cortland, NY? Local MapThe Central New York Arts Coalition is a cooperative effort among a number of venues and organizations in or near Cortland, NY. The core organization is between SUNY Cortland, Homer Center for the Arts and the Cortland Downtown Music Dialogue. Within each of these organizations are a number of departments, committees, groups and individuals who are working to promote music in the area.
Cortland Music is part of the Downtown Music group and maintains this website. Its primary activity centers around the Classical Music Festival Series, but also organizes other events at various area venues.
The primary focus of this site will be making recordings of local musicians available to the public in the form of indexes, links and podcasts. It also includes a calendar of music events, a listing of local musicians and opportunities for musicians. The "style" buttons at the left will bring up information relevant to a particular style.
